Privacy Policy This website www.frankfurter-gesellschaft.de (the "Website") is owned and operated by Frankfurter Gesellschaft für Handel, Industrie und Wissenschaft e.V. (referred to as "we", "our" or "us" in this statement). We are the controller of your personal data within the meaning of the European Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and would like to emphasise that the protection of your privacy and personal data is a particularly important concern for our society. In the following, we would like to explain to you how we use and protect your personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection law. 1. What personal data do we collect, how do we use it and for how long? 1.1 Website traffic data and information about your computer When you visit our website, we collect the following personal data ("Technical Data"): - When you access our websites, you transmit technically necessary internet browser data to our web server. We collect this data because it is necessary for the performance of our contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures with you. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. We will retain your data for as long as is necessary and required to process your request to your satisfaction and conclusively and to protect our legitimate interests and legal retention obligations. 2. With whom do we share your data and where is it transferred? Data we collect about your use of our website is not transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area. We share the technical data described above about visitors to our website with service providers who assist us in maintaining and administering the website. In particular, these are our processors who host, operate and visually design our website. We share data with our suppliers and service providers in connection with the rental of our premises where this is deemed necessary for the administration and performance of the contractual relationship. To use the members' area, you must log in using a username and password. As soon as you log in to the members' area, we store a session cookie on your computer. This will only be stored on your computer for the duration of your use of the members' area. When using the noticeboard in the members area, you are also required to register with a valid E-Mail address and log in to the members area again before you can post messages.
